Operations Improvement Specialist

Job Description:

As a dynamic and forward thinking Operations Improvement Specialist, you will drive a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives across our Wisbech operation, where you will actively identify and promote the implementation of improvements at sites in line with our UK&I practices.




In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing a pipeline of cost initiatives across all operational areas, delivering these initiatives to ensure continuous improvement targets are achieved, monitored and exceeded. You will assist with onsite implementations of best practices and the deployment of CEVA’s SCA and Kaizen programmes, reporting centrally and locally on performance and progress. As a member of the wider LEAN and SCA Team, you will also be involved in supporting and conducting Site Classification Assessments across sites. You will be reporting into the local General Manager, however, will have a wider connection with the centralized Business Process Excellence (BPE) structure.



Our ideal candidate will have proven continuous improvement experience and used to working in LEAN and Six Sigma environments, within a 3PL setting. With demonstrable experience of building and developing client relationships, you will also have a background in delivering operational excellence programs and driving change across large teams.


It goes without saying that you will possess exceptional communication, engagement and influencing abilities, be an efficient and effective problem solver and have excellent presentation and report writing and analysis skills.


It would also be desirable but not essential if you have proven project management and implementation experience.
