About the Role


We have an exciting opportunity for a Resource (Labour) Planner working for CEVA Logistics at our Kettering site.


You will be responsible for creating and managing labour deployment across the site by utilising client forecasts and business intelligence to make sure we have the right headcount in place across all clients. Each shift you will capture holidays, sickness and training into the deployment plan.


Your main duties include producing a daily and weekly labour plan by department and client, issuing the labour plan each week to each client operation, and capturing actual hours used / productivities and reflecting improved performance in future labour forecasts. You will also identify opportunities to cross train colleagues and build into the plan, along with liaising with agency providers and operations teams to ensure labour levels are in place to support volume, along with flagging any poor performance. The role will be Monday – Friday, however as our site grows weekend working may need to be supported. We are one big team here at CEVA, so we are looking for helpful, outgoing people who can get along with and support others.
