Customs Customer Service Controller

Job Description:

YOUR ROLE


As a Customs Customer Service Controller reporting into the Customer Service Manager, you will take on a hybrid role supporting with customs administration and act as a key point of contact for customers, supporting with any operational issues where necessary.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 

Part of your role will be focused on building effective working relationships with a portfolio of customers across our customs business, ensuring their requirements are fulfilled and issues are resolved quickly, keeping the channel of communication open throughout the process. When you aren’t liaising with customers, you’ll spend your time supporting with administrative tasks across the branch, as well as producing and sending customers monthly billing reports, supporting with cash collection and communicating performance on a regular basis.
 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

For this position we’re looking to hear from experienced customs professionals who have a sound understanding of the customs process, related paperwork and the market we’re operating in. As this is a hybrid role, you’ll also need to be a strong administrator who is comfortable taking on the finance duties listed above. Although it isn’t essential to have finance experience it would be beneficial however full training is required.
