The expectation from this role is to generate business from local SME and MNCs client base in the southern region of Malaysia and achieve the targets set by management.





  • Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve targeted revenue and growth.
  • Develop new businesses for all product range - Freight Management & Contract Logistics.
  • Develop opportunities to cross-sell products to existing and new clients.
  • Maintain an accurate, ongoing and robust sales pipeline at all time.
  • Forging and maintaining strong relationships with key contacts in existing and new accounts.
  • Strategic brainstorming and implementation of new business development initiatives.
  • Developing and leveraging on company’s branding and professional profile.
  • Retention of accounts through customer service excellence.
  • Gathering and sharing of market intelligence.
  • Ensure timely response from client queries and RFQ’s.
  • Drive and achieve department goal in accordance with company directions.
  • Manage account receivables at all time & follow up on AR issues with clients.
  • Ensure timely submission of reports (C-View – MTA, Opportunity Wins/Loss).
  • Any other task that may be assigned from time to time by the Management.





  • Diploma, Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in any field.
  • At least 3 years' experience related to business development in freight forwarding with extensive air freight experience.
  • Good command in Bahasa Malaysia and English language, both in written and spoken. Communication in Mandarin and colloquial language is mandatory due to the customer portfolio.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess intermediate computer and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.) skills.
  • Proven ability to plan, develop and execute business development strategies.
