Inventory Control Manager

Are you known for your management skills and driving superior results? Are you passionate about overseeing inventory management? If so, we have an opportunity that would allow you to manage the integrity of the inventory within a facility and the reporting of inventory results to the client and the operation's management team.



  • Oversee and manage the Inventory Control departments of multiple accounts to ensure the integrity of the inventory and that all procedures and processes are followed and completed in a timely manner and in accordance with client requirements, system requirements, company policy, ISO guidelines, Sarbanes Oxley and other regulatory requirements. Serve as the primary contact between the company and the client's Inventory Control team.
  • Plan, execute and reconcile physical inventories. Oversee daily cycle counts, audits and reconciliation of activities between systems in accordance with contractual commitments. Ensure that customer requirements are reported accurately and timely, according to customer specifications and contractual obligations.
  • Resolve discrepancies and high-value variances through established investigative processes and in accordance with contractual obligations. Balance with customer to all month end buckets and reports.
  • Organize data and provide results for management review and actions.
  • Resolve production issues related to systems applications within the warehouse environment using technical/trouble shooting skills. Identify and/or solve operational and WMS issues within the work group to provide productive and quality results. Work collaboratively with the management team to provide recommendations and solutions to improve inventory accuracy.



  • Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain or related discipline, preferred. Minimum five years related experience. Minimum three years supervisory or managerial experience. Minimum three years industry experience; five years preferred. In-depth experience and knowledge in using computer systems, mainframe and work station for management of inventory reconciliation, performance measurement and reporting (including WMS -Warehouse Management Systems.) In-depth experience in inventory control, cycle counting and quality assurance, (Lean, Six Sigma and ISO).
  • Credentials: Valid state issued Driver's License. Forklift Driver Certification. Other professional certifications may be required. 
  • Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications including Access or similar database software. Minimum five years experience in SAP utilization, user proficiency and training, troubleshooting and resolution with programmers. Advanced skill in creating Excel Spreadsheets for analysis in the use of macros, pivot tables, v-lookup, formulas for calculating results and reporting variances.
  • Characteristics: Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of warehouse operations and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Ability to manage the financial aspects of a department (purchasing, budget preparations and review, financial reporting and monitoring expenses).
