CEVA Freight LLC in Miami, FL seeks a Route Development Manager NORTAM - LATAM.

 

YOUR ROLE

 

To be responsible for organizing and improving business processes on the NORTAM & LATAM trade lane. 

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 

  • Work corroboratively with sales and management staff in each market to develop and close new business.
  • Work with Product Managers to develop effective service offerings requested by customers.
  • Produce and distribute reports on each lane identifying process and timelines governing both imports and exports on target lanes.
  • Deliver the air and ocean growth above market on RDM designated trade lanes per budget (by volume).
  • Develop and deliver strategy to drive key trade lanes success orchestrating country Field Sales personnel in close collaboration with fellow RDMs and air and ocean product Trade lane Managers (TLM).
  • Coordinate with all region and country BD leaders and Field Sales to sell into the specified trade lanes.
  • Support all sales activities and visits from overseas colleagues on targeted trade lanes.
  • Identify key opportunities and support the closure of opportunities across the global network.
  • Institute KPIs/measurements of fields sales team including quarterly performance monitoring/feedback.
  • Identify contingency measures such as Volume growth (TEU, Kilograms and CBM), GR growth, Pipeline and Wins and ensure swift changes as necessary on poor performance.
  • Implement new business enablement process with product (ensuring good operational handover to ops/product).
  • Establish customer commitment monitoring and follow-up process ensuring volume committed is implemented.
  • Develop Trade lane leads for RDM region, country, and Field Sales.
  • Manage and escalate any business development channel conflict with sectors.
  • Develop network mentality.

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

Education and Experience

 

  • Bachelors’ degree in Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field of study.
  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience in trade lane or business development.
  • 50% (domestic) + 5% (International) Travel required.
