WMS Implementation Manager

Because of our business growth we are looking for a new WMS Implementations Manager


In this role you will be responsible for the controlled implementations of new and existing IT solutions. The IT Contract Logistics team delivers high quality project management and implementations to the CEVA operations and its clients.


Part of your job is to implement specialized IT solutions for the WMS and TMS systems that are used by CEVA Operations to provide warehousing and distribution services to our customers.


You also need to specify the system development with functionalities, data, and interfaces & providing leadership and training for colleagues is a must.  In this role you will also provide a senior contact and escalation point for our internal business partners and our external clients as well.




  • Oversee and mentor more junior WMS Implementation resources in the deployment of one or more projects in parallel
  • Work directly with CEVA PMO and CEVA clients and their IT teams to create mutually agreement requirements documentation and project plans
  • Learn, deploy, and support technical CEVA IT solutions to our internal and external customers
  • Undertake detailed project work, including business analysis, systems configuration, product enhancement requests, EDI/API mapping, and IT Solutions Design work as relevant to business and client requirements
  • Generate specified project documentation to best practice quality standards, in line with CEVA Project Management Methodology standards.


  • Prepare test plans and conduct system testing, as required, to professional quality standards.
  • Support Systems Integration and User Acceptance Testing with CEVA IT, Operations, and with the External Customer.
  • Perform implementation and post implementation support tasks as required by the project.
  • Maintain good on-going working relationships with all customers and service providers as part of the day-to-day execution of project delivery.
  • Provide logistics and systems consultancy to internal and external customers
  • Prepare and perform management and client presentations as required.
  • Training and mentorship for all junior members of the IT team as needed


As a WMS Implementation Manager, you are part of the IT team. But you will have a close corporation with other CEVA colleagues all over the US and Europe in different roles.





  • Bachelor’s degree with Logistics or IT background
  • At least 10 years’ experience in 3PL, Contract Logistics, and/or Distribution Center environment
  • At least 5 years’ experience deploying WMS and TMS systems – Blue Yonder WMS, JDA, Red Prairie, and/or Dlx/Dispatcher preferred
  • Proven track record of successful WMS/TMS deployments across a wide variety of clients
  • Proven ability to lead a team of direct reports, responsible for parallel project deployment
  • Excellent knowledge of information technology and experience with software configuration, testing and information analysis
  • Excellent and strong communication, social and negotiating skills
  • Analytical and flexible
  • Fluently speak English, orally and written
  • Comfortable with working under pressure and willing to travel
