JDA WMS IT Solutions Analyst - Brazil, Louveira

Job Summary:

CEVA Logistics is currently hiring a JDA IT Solutions Analyst located in Brazil, Louveira. The Solutions Analyst provides the overall technical leadership for the implementation of warehouse solutions on the JDA platform. This position works directly with business owners, users, and developers to ensure requirements are met with technical and architectural integrity on time and on budget. It requires technical and functional knowledge of the JDA WMS solutions, as well as working knowledge of warehouse operational processes.

 

In this role, the JDA IT Solutions Analyst will,

  • Provide expertise in the delivery of  information technology application and third party vendor solutions as it relates to the corporate back-office business functions supported by the Competency Center
  • Act as the JDA subject matter expert as it relates to Business Process, Project and Portfolio Management, exceptional solution delivery skills, attention to detail, and a proven ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage to overall coordination of the Solution project/portfolio management oriented work efforts such as custom development and third party vendor application configuration, ensures that goals and objectives are met within time, scope and resource requirements 
  • Performs functional analysis, requirements, definition and application module configuration and testing 
  • Conduct prototypes, developing functional specifications, data mapping, function mapping, setting of configuration tables and setting of transaction/control tables
  • Proficiently applies IT methods, professional knowledge and CEVA standards and  practices to complex tasks and situations
  • Coordinates work performed through internal customers/business partners by defining project requirements, performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments
  • Responds to unfamiliar, undefined, unexpected, or unstable situations with the professionally prescribed standard response.  Uses standard analytical tools and rules to determine root cause and resolve the broad range of common system or application problems. Problems include but are not limited to: New application implementation problems, systems hardware/software crashing, system operational problems, power outages, etc.
  • Working with Senior leaders establishes goals and operating plans for the department and operates within budget parameters
  • Drives new technology initiatives from “idea” to implementation; Establishes and defines  system workflow processes to meet  requirements; identifies and defines necessary elements for application and third party vendor technology solutions. May be involved in the installation and tuning of application modifications, as well as archiving data. Generally this position has light programming skills in the appropriate language to develop necessary “work arounds”
  • Highly skilled in compliance and regulatory rules, establishes and maintains a two-way flow of information and communication between IT and  operations department to ensure compliance with new or changing regulatory rules

 

Education and Experience:

  • University Degree in IT or Business or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of relevant technical or business work experience
  • 10+  years of implementation and delivery services, preferable for large complex projects and customers, supporting one or more of the following technologies, EDI, TMS, WMS, SCS, and/or back office applications
  • 5+ years of experience supporting the Supply Chain industry

 

Additional Skills that Contribute to Success:

  • Cross-function management experience including both people and process management
  • Thorough understanding of the business processes and flows to enable the analysis of business requirements and solutions for the business functions
  • Fluent in English with the ability to communicate, both written and verbally, to all levels of the internal company or external client/customer
