Inside Sales Support - Automotive

Job Description: 

Job Summary:

The primary role is customer sales and account development in support of Global Account Managers in the Automotive sector. Integral to the role is also escalated problem resolution, proposal and presentation development, market research, transportation and logistics pricing, and assistance with transitioning sale to operations.

 

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develops quotes, proposals or presentations for customers for management approval; assists with presentation as required.
  • Develops critical relationships with customers and key contacts to ensure customer satisfaction, retention and identify opportunities to secure and grow business.
  • Serves as a contact for escalated customer needs, leverages internal and external resources to identify resolution and works to ensure implementation.
  • Develops deep understanding of company products, services and value propositions; provides assistance reviewing and implementing market strategies.
  • RFQ support including analytics, data collection, co-ordination, proposal document preparation
  • Support with preparation support for MBR/QBR
  • Provides assistance in developing marketing and related communications materials for target customers or markets
  • Create and lead a monthly sales controlling process, supported by the global sales controlling tool, C-View and any other applications.
  • Works to qualify leads generate customer interest, promoting awareness and develop new leads; applies account development and market strategies. 
  • Prepares research and information to respond to customer requests or proposals, prepares quotes, reports, and other information as required.
  • Attends customer visits and sales activities to continue strengthening relationship, understanding needs to grow the business.
  • Ensures processes and operations complies with applicable laws, rules and regulations; seeks advice and interpretation when required.
  • Assist with entering legal documentation into the legal portal. Also, supporting with obtaining needed CEVA signatures
  • Performs other duties as assigned

 

 

Knowledge, Experience & Skills:

  • Necessary software tools for analysis and reports
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
  • 2-5 years in customer service or sales support role.  Logistics Sales, Account Management or Logistics Operations/Services a plus. 
  • Proficient in MS Office (strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required) 
  • Experience in international work environment a plus
  • Potential to work in Global Sales/KAM roles
  • Ability to prepare complex customer presentation
  • Must be fluent in English
